Here I am –

Captured.

At the centre of the world.

The forest of emerald beauty

where every road returns.

Days of past and future,

rendez-vous just here,

where I have come to find

a purity of heart, perhaps to keep

for longer than this moment.

A spirit lost and found,

without an effort,

perhaps shadowing every step,

whispering echoes in every word,

tracking every fleeting glimpse

of Nature’s jewellery.

Hold me, beautiful star,

and keep me in this place,

with gentleness surrounding

and softness nestled through.
